Mission

"educate, engage, and empower others to reduce harm, increase protection, and teach resiliency beyond environmental conditions"

Welcome to the Savage Foundation, formerly known as Youth Today Community Resource Center.  We are committed to the biopsychosocial well being of those we serve in community.  Founded in 2001, we committed to  serving our community from devastation to development after Hurricane Floyd.  There was  as strong need for social and community resource database.  Through collaboration with municapalities, communities, schools, and local organizations, we were able to open a community computer access center for youth and families, entrepreneurial minisociety, and partner with state wide organizations to improve outcomes for individuals, families, and communities.  Our footprint in direct services led to our transformation to an indirect model of services--a service to providers who care for our most vulnerable populations.   There was a strong need to strengthen the nonprofit model with a community component for social good.

In 2012,  Audacity Group Social Enterprise LLC was birthed on the principles of nonprofit sustainability.  Through leadership and entrepreneur education we are able to provide economic empowerment for our members to develop their ideas from ground zero to profit.  The Foundation is a private entity to support to its member communities and grassroots initiatives.  Each year  Audacity shares a portion of its revenues with individuals, organizatioms and communities whether through in-kind matching or mini-grants that align with our mission  "to affirm human social value."
